Your organisation's use of SmartMed.ai may also be governed by a subscription agreement, proposal, order form, implementation agreement, data processing agreement or other written agreement with ITBlanket. Where such an agreement conflicts with these Terms, the applicable written agreement will govern to the extent of that conflict.

5. Healthcare Organisation Responsibilities
A hospital, clinic or other healthcare organisation using SmartMed.ai is responsible for determining who may access its account and for assigning appropriate user roles and permissions.
Healthcare organisations are responsible for ensuring that their users use SmartMed.ai in accordance with applicable laws, professional obligations, organisational policies and the organisation's agreement with ITBlanket.
The healthcare organisation remains responsible for the healthcare services it provides, including clinical decisions, patient care, documentation requirements and appropriate use of information available through SmartMed.ai.
6. SmartMed.ai Is a Technology Platform
SmartMed.ai supports healthcare workflows but does not replace the judgement of qualified healthcare professionals.
ITBlanket is a technology provider and does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment or emergency medical services merely by providing SmartMed.ai.
Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, diagnostic professionals and other qualified healthcare professionals remain responsible for professional decisions made in connection with patient care.
Information presented, generated, stored or communicated through SmartMed.ai should be reviewed and used by appropriately qualified persons in the context of the individual patient and the circumstances of care.
7. AI-Assisted Features
SmartMed.ai may include artificial intelligence-assisted features intended to help healthcare professionals and authorised users perform certain tasks more efficiently.
Depending on the functionality made available, AI-assisted features may help with activities such as:
- analysing or organising medical documents;
- extracting information from reports or records;
- summarising available information;
- assisting with clinical documentation;
- retrieving relevant information from available documents;
- supporting administrative and operational workflows;
- generating suggestions or draft content for review.
AI-generated or AI-assisted information can contain errors, omissions or inappropriate suggestions. It should not be assumed to be accurate merely because it was generated by the Service.
Appropriate human review remains necessary. Healthcare professionals are responsible for independently reviewing AI-assisted output before relying upon it for diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment, clinical documentation or other important healthcare decisions.
AI-assisted functionality is not a substitute for professional medical judgement or independent clinical verification.
8. Telemedicine and Virtual Consultations
SmartMed.ai may enable telemedicine or virtual consultation workflows, including appointment scheduling, consultation links and integration with video conferencing or meeting services.
The healthcare provider remains responsible for determining whether a virtual consultation is appropriate for a particular patient and clinical situation.
Users acknowledge that virtual consultations depend on factors such as internet connectivity, compatible devices, browsers, cameras, microphones and third-party meeting services.
SmartMed.ai should not be relied upon as the sole means of obtaining assistance in a medical emergency.
9. Patient Communications and Notifications
SmartMed.ai may enable hospitals and healthcare professionals to communicate with patients through channels such as WhatsApp, email, SMS or other supported messaging services.
Communications may include appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling requests, follow-up information, prescription-related notifications, virtual consultation information and other operational communications.
Healthcare organisations are responsible for ensuring that they have an appropriate basis for communicating with patients and for configuring communications appropriately for their use.
Message delivery cannot be guaranteed because delivery may depend on third-party providers, telecommunications networks, internet availability, recipient settings and other circumstances outside ITBlanket's direct control.
10. Patient and Healthcare Data
SmartMed.ai may process information relating to patients, healthcare professionals, staff and healthcare operations in order to provide the Service.
Depending on how a healthcare organisation uses SmartMed.ai, information processed through the Service may include patient identification details, appointments, medical records, clinical notes, prescriptions, diagnostic reports, billing information, documents and other healthcare-related information.
Healthcare organisations and users must only collect, enter, access, disclose and otherwise process information through SmartMed.ai where they are authorised and permitted to do so.
The handling of personal information is further described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, customer agreements or data processing agreements.
11. Data Accuracy
SmartMed.ai may display information entered by users, received from healthcare organisations, imported from other systems or produced through automated processes.
Healthcare professionals and authorised users are responsible for reviewing relevant information and correcting inaccuracies where appropriate before relying on it for important decisions.
ITBlanket is not responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect information supplied by users, customers or independent third-party systems.
12. Third-Party Services and Integrations
SmartMed.ai may integrate with or rely upon third-party technologies and services to provide certain functionality. These may include cloud infrastructure, communication providers, payment services, video conferencing services, authentication services, analytics tools, artificial intelligence services and other technology providers.
Third-party products and services may be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability requirements and usage restrictions.
ITBlanket is not responsible for the independent operation of a third-party service except to the extent expressly agreed in an applicable written agreement.

ITBlanket uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect SmartMed.ai and information processed through the Service.
No internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users and healthcare organisations are responsible for maintaining appropriate security of their devices, networks, accounts, credentials and authorised-user access.
Suspected unauthorised access, security incidents or compromised credentials should be reported to ITBlanket or the relevant organisation administrator promptly.
15. Intellectual Property
SmartMed.ai, including its software, interfaces, designs, workflows, documentation, branding and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to ITBlanket and may be protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
Your right to use SmartMed.ai is limited to the access granted under your organisation's subscription or applicable agreement.

21. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SmartMed.ai is provided subject to the warranties expressly stated in an applicable customer agreement, if any.
